Jackie Boy

"Jack" is hands down the most affectionate gentleman this side of the Hudson. As an older guy, 8-10 yrs old, he comes from a caring rescue group that had to close their doors. He's a southern boy originally from North Carolina. Meet him once and you'll understand what a great companion he is.

Orchid

Here is a high energy Border Collie mix who came to the UCSPCA as a stray this past fall. Orchid took a little while to warm up to her new friends here, and probably will in a new home. Orchid is a delight and she would make a great companion for jogging, hiking, or even a great agility dog. She is about 3 years of age with a super smile.

Diamond

Diamond was as brought to the UCSPCA by our Humane Law Division when she was abandoned. She is happiest when it's just you and her sharing the love. While it's good fun to run and play, Diamond always comes back for a pat on the head. Diamond is about 3 yrs old and at 45lbs, still insists that she's a lap dog.

Koda

Koda came to us in very poor condition. He was undernourished and needed medical care for an abscess on his head. Today Koda is a healthy five year old interested in finding an active family. Koda still has a bump on his head from past injuries, though he's not checking in the mirror!

Lilo

8 month old male, brought in as a stray sickly kitten in february. Was so sickly the vets were considering euthanasia, was on medication and fluids for months. Is now a healthy crazy ball of energy. Not a lovey cuddley kitten (you need to earn his trust), but definitely playful (does play rough), needs someone who can keep up with and tire him out.

Gia

A 5 year old big beautiful female tort, currently trying to lose some weight. Her former owner moved to Florida and couldn't take her. She is great with people and tolerant of other cats but would love to be the only girl in someone's life.

 

Guru

Guess who's back, the very lovey 6 year old male, originally from Ogden Humane Law case in 2008. Was adopted out to a family but didn't take very well to the small children. Lesson learned, no small children in the next house. He is a true feline and can have his moods where he does not want human attention.

 

Cee Cee

2 year old female. Owner's moved to a place that didn't accept pets. Was adopted out but didn't do so well with the dachsund that lived there. She is ok with 1 or 2 other cats, too many cats intimidates her. She is a mush with people and a complete lap cat.

 

Hanz

A 2 year old male tuxedo, very friendly and sweet. Good with everyone, I don't think there's a mean bone in his body. Abandoned in the apt when his owner moved out.

 

Franz

Hanz' brother, 2 year old male as well. Sweet as can be but a bit shy at first, you have to earn his trust, but once you do he won't leave you alone.

 

Kabo

An 8 and a half year old dilute calico female. Her tongue hangs out and her lips look a little funny because she is missing her canine teeth in the front. A lap kitty, good with other cats and people. Has a cute saunter when she walks.

 

Whiskers

Sponsored by Nora! A 4-5 year old tuxedo female. Quiet and calm, loves attention and good with everyone. Often overlooked because she is so quiet you wouldn't even notice her in the see of cats.
