Artists for Animals

Our DECEMBER artist of the month is ALYSON DUDEK

Our Artist of the Month for December is Alyson Dudek.

Alyson is a teaching assistant at J. Watson Bailey Middle School where she has worked for ten years.

As a photographer, she is constantly seeking new adventures and experiences to capture through her lens.  She hopes to bring out the beauty in the world around us and to create an image that will evoke emotion and inspire people to explore the great outdoors.  Alyson has been fortunate to take some of her favorite photographs in the most unexpected places.  A small flower on the side of the road, a bee collecting pollen or, most recently, a howler monkey in Guatemala.

We hope you enjoy her work and even more can be found at alysonwanderlandphotography.com.

25% of all proceeds go directly to the Ulster County SPCA!

Our Artist for Animal’s work is available for purchase, with a percentage of the profits going to the Ulster County SPCA. To purchase a piece of art, please call our office between 11:30 AM and 3:30 PM (or leave a voicemail any time) at (845) 331-5377 x210. Purchase can be made over the phone, or at the scheduled pick up time.

The project is an effort to merge the animal community with the growing art community in the Hudson Valley and has been very successful since its inception. The UCSPCA works closely with local artists, allowing them to display their work in the shelter for one month. Each month the featured artist displays their work at the shelter and proceeds from the sale of their work comes back to the animals.
