If you want to help animals directly but cannot commit to an adoption, please consider our foster program.
The Ulster County SPCA always need fosters! Fosters help keep animals out of the shelter and in homes. Fosters can house adult or juvenile animals of all species – dogs, cats, rabbits, other small animals and even occasionally farm animals. We also need fosters who are comfortable caring for animals with medical or behavioral needs.
When fostering, the Ulster County SPCA provides everything the animal will need – veterinary care, crates, supplies, and food.
Complete the foster application below and email to volunteer@ucspca.org. The Volunteer Coordinator will contact you to schedule your orientation and match you with an animal for you to foster in your home.
