Artists for Animals

Our MARCH artist of the month is Bad Barry

Our artist for the month is Bob Barry, owner of Lucky Cat Studio. Bob lives in High Falls and runs Lucky Cat Studio.  He has shown his ceramic sculptures internationally and has had residencies in France and Japan.  Currently, he is represented by BAU Gallery in Beacon, NY. As an Ulster County SPCA Volunteer, Bob cares for our many cats in the main cat room on a weekly schedule.

All work is made from high fire stoneware and is lead free and dishwasher safe. 100% of all proceeds go directly to the Ulster County SPCA!

The project is an effort to merge the animal community with the growing art community in the Hudson Valley and has been very successful since its inception. The UCSPCA works closely with local artists, allowing them to display their work in the shelter for one month. Each month the featured artist displays their work at the shelter and proceeds from the sale of their work comes back to the animals.
